About the Role
As an M365 Collaboration Engineer, you’ll oversee end-to-end administration of Microsoft 365 services, troubleshoot complex issues, automate repetitive tasks, and ensure strong governance, security, and compliance across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage M365 Tenant & platform administration (setup, config, licensing, user/mailbox).
- Administer MS Teams, OneDrive for Business, SharePoint Online & Power Platform.
- Handle Azure AD & AD Connect components for M365.
- Manage ATP/MDO, Intune, Identity Protection & Conditional Access.
- Automate operational tasks using PowerShell.
- Oversee service health, reporting, incident/problem/change management.
- Implement governance frameworks, evergreen releases & platform policies.
- Support migration of collaboration workloads from on-prem to cloud.
- Prepare usage reports, monthly service summaries & operational dashboards.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 3–8 years’ experience in Microsoft 365 Administration.
- Strong knowledge of M365 Tenant, MS Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint Online & Azure AD.
- Hands-on experience with Defender for O365, AIP, DLP & Identity Protection.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for task automation.
- Experience with Intune, Conditional Access, MFA & service health monitoring.
- Working knowledge of governance, security & compliance frameworks.
- Experience handling service management processes (ITIL, incident/problem/change).
Good-to-Have
- Experience designing/implementing M365 services.
- Knowledge of migration tools (Quest, BitTitan, SkySync).
- Familiarity with Enterprise Mobility/Endpoint Manager.
- Exposure to multi-tenant environments.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools.
- Flexibility with duty shifts/relocation if needed.
