Senior Fullstack Java Developer (Mobile-Oriented)
Location: Lisbon
Hybrid: 2-3 times a week in Lisbon
Type of Contract: Permanent Contract
🗣 Languages Required: Fluent in English (B2) and at least intermediate French (B1)
✅ Elegibility: Candidates must be in Portugal and possess a valid work permit for Portugal
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Fullstack Java Developer with a strong emphasis on mobile and hybrid application development. This role is ideal for someone who combines deep backend expertise in Java with hands-on experience building modern mobile solutions across Android, iOS, and hybrid frameworks.
✅ Required Skills
- Strong professional experience as a Fullstack Java Developer with exposure to mobile development.
- Solid expertise with hybrid mobile technologies: Cordova 12, Ionic 3
- Experience with native mobile development tools: Android Studio, Objective-C/Swift for iOS
- Good understanding of modern frontend frameworks, ideally Angular 5.
- Practical knowledge of Node.js and JavaScript for both client-side and backend tasks.
- Ability to work across the full development lifecycle, from architecture to deployment.
- Experience working in agile or hybrid development environments.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with more recent versions of Angular or Ionic.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and mobile deployment processes (App Store / Play Store).
- Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) that support mobile solutions.

- Develop and maintain fullstack applications with a strong focus on mobile and hybrid app solutions.
- Build hybrid mobile applications using Cordova, Ionic, and related frameworks.
- Work with Android Studio for native Android development and Objective-C/Swift for iOS integrations when needed.
- Implement user-facing features and mobile interfaces ensuring performance, usability, and responsiveness.
- Develop backend services and APIs in Java, ensuring seamless communication between mobile apps and server-side components.
