Role
As Head of People, your role will be to turn a group of talented individuals into a high-performance team globally and to design the organizational operating system that allows to scale our operations without losing our soul.
International Expansion & Compliance (The "Architect")
- You will lead the "People" side of our existing and future offices, setting up local entities, defining compliant employment contracts, and navigating local labor laws
- Build a robust, scalable and competitive compensation & benefits framework, to ensure our packages attract the top 1% talent in every geography
- Design our mobility policy / program to facilitate internal transfers between our offices, handling all admin and people aspects: visas, relocation packages...
- You will structure the Talent Acquisition engine to hire 100+ profiles each year, from interns to senior international profiles: ex-Uber, ex-Booking, ex-Navan...
- You will implement a rigorous "Bar Raiser" interview process, inspired by the most successful international scale ups and GAFAM to ensure we never lower our standards, even when hiring fast
- You will make Naboo the #1 place to work in the Event-Tech space and you will own our reputation on Glassdoor and LinkedIn, showcasing our unique culture
- Culture & Performance (The "Coach")
- You will be the guardian of our culture and our rituals (offsites, afterworks, team buildings...) to ensure that as we grow and expand, we remain one team
- You will lead our bi-annual 360Β° reviews, define clear career paths, building on our strong data-driven performance management culture
- You will harmonize our People policies across time zones (remote work, nomad work...) to ensure a sales rep in Montreal feels as connected as a Dev in Paris.
- You are fluent in English and another European language (French is a plus)
- You have 7-10+ years of experience in HR/People Operations, with at least 3 years as a Head of People or HR VP in a hyper-growth scale-up (series B/C stage)
- You have proven experience opening international offices, specifically in the US, and you master US, Canada and key European labor regulations
- You have been through the "messy middle" of scaling a startup, you are resilient, adaptable, and ready to build the plane while flying it
- You are not a lawyer, but you know enough about law to mitigate risks before they happen
- You don't rely on feelings but on hard facts and data to make decisions: eNPS, retention rates, time-to-hire metrics...
- You are comfortable with modern HR stacks: BambooHR, Lattice, PayFit, Figures...
