Along with our partner, we are seeking a motivated and adaptable Junior System Administrator to join their IT team. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong foundation in desktop support and a passion for learning new technologies. They are looking for someone who will assist in maintaining and supporting their IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations across systems, devices, and applications.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide desktop support for Windows environment, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Administer Microsoft 365 (O365) services, including user account management, email configuration, and license allocation.
  • Support and manage mobile devices (iOS) through MDM solutions.
  • Utilize remote management tools to diagnose and resolve technical issues for remote users.
  • Monitor system performance and assist in routine maintenance tasks such as updates and patches.
  • Collaborate with senior administrators on server and network tasks as needed.
  • Define and document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing.
  • Provide excellent communication and customer service to end-users and team members.
  • Maintain compliance with security policies and assist in implementing best practices.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of experience in IT support or system administration.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS and common desktop applications.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint).
  • Familiarity with mobile device management (MDM) tools and concepts.
  • Proficiency in using remote support tools (e.g., TeamViewer, RMM platforms).
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Ability to learn quickly, adapt to new technologies, and work independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
  • Basic scripting knowledge of PowerShell.
  • Understanding of IT security principles.


Education:

  • Associate degree in Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Fundamentals) are a plus.
