We work with hedge funds, banks, commodity traders, utilities, and major industrials in sectors such as metals, shipping, aviation and refining, combining exchange-traded strategies with bespoke OTC structured solutions.
We are looking for a graduate (or someone with early-career experience or an internship in a relevant field) to join our sales and origination team in London. This is an opportunity to develop client-facing skills in a fast-growing market and progress quickly within a small, entrepreneurial team.
What you will do
- Support the sales team with daily workflows across listed and OTC products
- Assist in building out our exchange-traded derivatives business
- Help originate and onboard new clients with guidance from senior team members
- Prepare market summaries, pricing sheets, and client materials
- Conduct research across carbon and broader commodity markets
- Attend occasional client meetings, industry events and conferences
- Take ownership of tasks and proactively drive mini-projects to completion
What we’re looking for
- Strong numerical ability and genuine interest in financial markets
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a quantitative/technical field
- Some exposure to finance, trading, derivatives, commodities or capital markets (university projects, internships, thesis work or early work experience are all fine)
- Excellent Excel skills; basic coding is an advantage
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- A self-starter who takes initiative in a small, fast-moving environment
- Comfortable speaking with clients after training and development
- A second European language is a plus
- No prior energy or carbon market experience required, but a basic understanding of how financial markets function is expected
- Right to work in the UK. Sponsorship can be considered for exceptional candidates.
What we offer
- Competitive salary and performance-based progression
- Direct exposure to one of the most dynamic and fast-growing markets in Europe
- Accelerated development and early responsibility in a small team
- Opportunity to become client-facing with senior support
- 1 day WFH per week after induction and training
- Private health insurance benefits
- Current office in central London with access to gym, socials and wellness events
- 25 Holidays + bank holidays
- Professional development budget
If you’re motivated, curious, and keen to build a career in front-office commodities and environmental markets, we would be happy to hear from you.
