Summary
PeoplePlusTech is seeking a highly skilled Frontend Developer with strong experience in React, TypeScript, Node.js, and AWS to support a short-term (1-month) development project. This role is ideal for freelance or part-time engineers who can quickly integrate, contribute, and deliver high-quality frontend features.
You will work closely with our internal engineering team to enhance UI components, build integrations, and support cloud-based deployment work.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain responsive frontend applications using React + TypeScript.
- Build reusable UI components, manage state (Redux or equivalent), and ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
- Implement frontend-to-backend integrations using Node.js, REST APIs, and AWS services.
- Work with AWS components relevant to frontend applications—such as S3, CloudFront, API Gateway, Lambda, Cognito, etc.
- Debug issues across the frontend stack, optimize performance, and ensure robust user experience.
- Collaborate with PeoplePlusTech engineers to understand requirements, deliver features on time, and participate in quick, iterative reviews.
- Support lightweight DevOps tasks related to build and deployment pipelines (CI/CD).
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in frontend development.
- Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Working knowledge of Node.js (for API consumption or light backend tasks).
- Hands-on experience with key AWS services (S3, CloudFront, Lambda, API Gateway, Cognito).
- Solid understanding of Git workflows.
- Experience integrating and consuming REST APIs.
- Ability to work independently and deliver within tight timelines (1-month engagement).
Nice to Have
- Experience with serverless frameworks (e.g., Serverless Framework, SAM).
- Basic SQL or RDS experience.
- Backend API design exposure.
- Familiarity with Terraform or other IaC tools.
- Understanding of DNS, SSL, certificates, or SAML.
- Experience with mobile-responsive UI or mobile development.
