Job Description
A global leader in eBusiness solutions is looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to help them along their migration to Azure while having their eyes on going full-throttle on Infrastructure as Code in the future.
Responsibilities:
- Building and maintaining a modern and scalable IT platform that ensures security, efficiency and optimal tools for development and operations.
- Play a key role in the team for all topics relating to Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructures and solutions.
- Help design cloud security solutions such as network, firewalls, VPN and web gateways.
- Automate, optimise and innovate existing and new infrastructures in the cloud with IaC.
- Create disaster recovery scenarios and put them through their paces.
Requirements:
- You have experience with at least 2 of the following areas:
> Azure Architecture such as Landing Zones, Management Groups and Azure Policies in the Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF).
> Azure Network Topology and Connectivity incl. segmentation, firewalls, web gateways, VPN and IP addressing.
> Azure Security such as identity management, encryption, key vault management, defender for cloud, RBAC and zero trust practices.
> Infrastructure as code with Terraform, ArgoCD and Kubernetes.
- You take a structured and meticulous approach to your work and are able to work independently and apply analytical and conceptual skills.
- You are a true team player, tackle challenges proactively and value mutual feedback.
- Well-spoken English.
- Knowledge of German is a plus.
