Job Description
A Manufacturing-focused data platform startup is looking for a Bilingual SRE.

Responsibilities:
- Enhance overall service reliability, performance, availability, and scalability
- Lead incident response, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), and implement long-term preventive measures
- Define and manage SLIs/SLOs while improving observability through logs, metrics, and traces
- Automate repetitive operational tasks and strengthen CI/CD pipelines
- Design, build, and operate cloud-native infrastructure and Kubernetes environments
- Implement and advocate for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices
- Partner with development teams to integrate SRE principles into the entire development lifecycle
- Drive SRE culture by providing guidance, documentation, and knowledge sharing across teams
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong background in backend development and operating production web applications
- Hands-on experience designing, building, and running cloud-based architectures (including SRE practices and Infrastructure as Code)
- Practical experience with modern platforms such as Kubernetes, container technologies, and CI/CD pipelines
- Japanese - Fluent (JLPT1 or above) / English - Advanced
