Key Responsibilities

  • Own analysis of core algorithms and user engagement patterns to drive smarter matchmaking and discovery
  • Partner with Product, Design, and Engineering to define KPIs and influence feature strategy
  • Design and lead A/B experiments that unlock actionable product improvements
  • Create compelling dashboards and data visualizations that inform executive decisions
  • Communicate insights clearly across teams, translating data into real-world impact
  • Explore behavioral data to uncover trends, gaps, and new opportunities for innovation


Qualifications & Skills

  • 3+ years in a data analytics or data science role within a consumer tech environment (e.g., social, dating, gaming, e-commerce)
  • Advanced SQL skills and solid statistical knowledge
  • Hands-on experience with experimentation and product performance metrics
  • Proficiency with BI tools like Looker, Hex, Sigma, Superset, or similar
  • Strong communicator who thrives on collaboration and clarity
  • Strategic thinker with a curiosity-driven mindset and bias for action
  • You follow the data, but you also question it
