Job Description
Platform Engineer – Cloud Automation | 6 month contract | Fully remote anywhere in EU
We’re looking for experienced Platform Engineers to support the automation and modernisation of a large-scale cloud infrastructure for a global SaaS organisation. In this role, you will contribute to two major initiatives:
• Ensuring the cloud platform meets strict security and compliance standards for operating within regulated environments
• Migrating customers from dedicated infrastructure onto a shared, highly automated cloud platform
What we’re looking for:
• Strong experience with cloud platforms, especially Azure and Kubernetes
• Proficiency in Python and a solid background in software engineering
• Deep knowledge of infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible and GitOps
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools like Grafana and Kibana
• Strong communication skills and the ability to contribute to technical design discussions
We’re particularly interested in engineers who have:
• Built real-world applications and automation tooling (not just scripts)
• Worked in fast-paced, collaborative environments
• A passion for solving complex infrastructure challenges through code
