Agility Partners is seeking a qualified DevOps Engineer to fill an open position with a AAA Gaming Studio based in Redmond, WA. This role supports critical game development pipelines and plays a direct role in ensuring build stability for globally distributed teams through overnight CI/CD coverage. You will work hands-on with automation, observability, and infrastructure supporting AAA game production. This is an exciting opportunity for a DevOps professional who thrives in high-impact environments where reliability and speed directly influence product delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Support, troubleshoot, and improve CI/CD pipelines to ensure consistent build stability across multiple game projects.
- Monitor pipelines using observability tools, create alerts, and analyze metrics, logs, and traces to drive performance improvements.
- Triage and resolve external partner issues, perform root cause analysis, and lead postmortems for critical pipeline failures.
- Design and implement automation scripts to streamline operations and improve CI/CD efficiency and reliability.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with DevOps or CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
- 5+ years of experience scripting and automating operations using PowerShell, Python, or similar languages.
- 3+ years of experience implementing KPI monitoring solutions using SQL, Azure Data Lake, or similar technologies.
- Experience with data and observability platforms for monitoring CI/CD infrastructure performance.
- Proficiency with source control systems, preferably Perforce.
- Strong knowledge of software development best practices including Agile and continuous integration/deployment.
- Excellent problem-solving, root cause analysis, communication, and documentation skills.
