Job Description
We are looking for a Platform & DevOps Engineer to join MacawLabs and work long-term with one of our key client. This is a full-time, fully remote role focused on building, maintaining, and securing cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.

Key responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain AWS infrastructure (especially EC2 and related services).
- Build, improve, and operate CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Harness.
- Create and maintain installation and automation scripts for deployment, configuration, and monitoring.
- Implement and monitor security compliance controls, including vulnerability management using tools like Tenable.
- Support and optimize Kubernetes clusters for reliability and scalability.
- Work with engineering teams using Jira, Bitbucket, and Confluence to support smooth delivery and clear documentation.
- Use AWS Systems Manager (SSM) to manage, patch, and operate infrastructure at scale.
Must-have skills
- Strong experience as a DevOps / Platform Engineer in production environments.
- Hands-on expertise with AWS (EC2, SSM and related core services).
- Solid experience with Jenkins and CI/CD practices.
- Experience with Harness or similar deployment/orchestration tools.
- Experience with Kubernetes (setup, configuration, operations).
- Familiarity with security compliance, vulnerability scanning and remediation (e.g., Tenable).
- Comfortable working with Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence in an agile environment.
- Good communication skills in English (written and spoken).
Nice to have
- Experience in high-compliance or security-sensitive environments.
- Background working with distributed, international teams.
