PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The 3D Visualizer & Fabricator is responsible for transforming conceptual designs into high-quality, photorealistic 3D renderings and physical installations. This role bridges creative design and practical fabrication, ensuring that visual concepts are accurately realized through technical drawings, material selection, and hands-on construction. The position supports both digital visualization and physical production, contributing to impactful displays and environments while upholding the highest standards of craftsmanship and safety.

Qualifications / Licenses / Skills

• Diploma or degree in 3D design, industrial design, architecture, fine arts, or a related field
• Proven experience as a 3D Visualizer and/or Fabricator, preferably in exhibitions, events, or production settings
• Proficient in 3D modeling and rendering software (e.g., 3ds Max, SketchUp, Rhino, V-Ray, Blender, or similar)
• Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for presentation and design refinement
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, design briefs, and technical plans
• Experience creating fabrication-ready technical drawings and material specifications
• Strong understanding of materials (wood, acrylic, metal, foam) and their appropriate application
• Competent in using hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, and assembling
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and quality in both visual output and physical builds
• Good communication and teamwork skills; able to collaborate with design and fabrication teams
• Physically fit, with the ability to lift, transport, and install fabricated pieces when required
• Knowledge of workplace safety practices and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
• Valid driver's license (preferred, especially if travel to installation sites is needed)
  
  

DUTIES

• Develop high-quality, photorealistic 3D renderings and models based on design briefs, architectural drawings, and concept sketches.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to interpret ideas and produce accurate design solutions.
• Revise 3D designs based on feedback and ensured alignment with project goals.
• Create technical drawings, material specifications, and render packages for presentation and production purposes.
• Maintain an organized digital archive of all visual assets and project files.
• Support the construction and assembly of displays, set pieces, and installations according to approved 3D designs.
• Work with materials such as wood, metal, acrylic, and foam using hand and power tools.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of installations on-site when required.
• Collaborate with the fabrication team to ensure designs are production-ready and feasible.
• Ensure safety protocols and quality standards are followed throughout the fabrication process
• Demonstrates a high level of workmanship and attention to detail.
• Must have proven workmanship skills and a commitment to quality.
