Job Description


About the Opportunity:

The organization is seeking an experienced Vice President to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of technology and product platforms, overseeing Product, Engineering, and Design functions. This leadership role is responsible for advancing and scaling technology supporting destination wedding experiences, applying AI to drive efficient discovery, delivery, and operations, and ensuring seamless collaboration and innovation across teams.


Responsibilities:

• Define and own the product and technology vision aligned with the organization's business strategy.

• Translate organizational goals and customer needs into a clear, actionable roadmap.

• Identify market trends, technical opportunities, and user insights to drive innovation and competitive advantage, especially where AI can enhance speed, quality, or personalization.

• Establish decision rules for adopting new tools and technologies, requiring evaluation and ROI evidence.

• Lead, mentor, and grow cross-functional teams in Product, Engineering, and Design.

• Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and collaboration.

• Set objectives and create pathways for professional development across disciplines.

• Coach teams on AI-assisted workflows while upholding architecture, security, accessibility, and reliability standards.

• Oversee the full product lifecycle from discovery and design to development, testing, and release.

• Partner with leadership to prioritize initiatives that drive business growth and operational efficiency.

• Ensure timely, high-quality delivery and set standards for scalable practices.

• Champion AI-assisted development through policy, training, and evaluation.

• Set expectations for rapid prototyping to compress concept-to-prototype timelines.

• Collaborate with Engineering leadership to mature the organization’s LLM/AI platform layer and set standards for its application.

• Champion a user-first mindset across all initiatives.

• Leverage analytics, A/B testing, and customer feedback for decision-making.

• Align product experience with revenue, engagement, and retention goals.

• Use experimentation to make quick, evidence-based decisions.

• Partner with Marketing, Operations, and Sales to launch new features and enhancements.

• Translate technical capabilities into compelling product stories and communicate AI features clearly.

• Gather post-launch insights to improve products and systems.


Requirements:

• 10+ years of progressive experience in product management or combined product/technology roles in a high-growth consumer tech environment, ideally in travel, marketplace, or mobile apps.

• Proven track record leading teams through rapid scale and delivering measurable business outcomes (e.g., $10M to $50M+ growth).

• Deep understanding of both product strategy and technical execution.

• Strong intuition for UX and analytical rigor.

• Expertise in defining and tracking metrics, running A/B tests, and making data-driven prioritization decisions.

• Excellent communication and motivational skills.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, design, business, or a related field.


Compensation:

• Salary from $200,000-250,000
