Job Description

Overview

Ciro is for SMEs confident in what they do, but unsure how to break into global markets. Ciro emerged when a small team, overwhelmed by service demand, chose to scale up. Ciro's main purpose is to boost Turkey’s foreign-currency revenue.

Ciro operates like an agency, managing both marketing and sales for its clients by building international teams with a clear purpose: revenue. Unlike a typical consultancy agency, Ciro takes full ownership of the revenue operations and judges its success not by metrics that look good on paper, but by the actual revenue it produces for each client.

We are looking for a GTM/Revenue Engineer who will own our revenue automations end-to-end: design Clay tables and enrichment waterfalls, turn fuzzy ICPs into precise filters and scoring, and keep data clean, deduped, and CRM-ready. You’ll wire up APIs/Webhooks, map fields across HubSpot/Salesloft, and act as first responder when automations break (errors, rate limits, auth). You’re fluent in spreadsheet logic, unafraid of docs, and can explain complex table flows in plain English. 1+ year in RevOps/GTM systems or a technical sales role is ideal; Clay (or similar) experience is a plus. Curiosity, speed, ownership, and honesty matter more than pedigree, coachability is non-negotiable. Nice to have: SDR/BDR background, Make/n8n/Zapier familiarity. We offer rapid growth, the chance to build and lead your own team as we scale, and compensation that grows with responsibility and results.

This is a remote role until Ciro sets up its office in İstanbul.

What you’ll do

  • Design and build automated Clay tables to execute complex data enrichment workflows, list building, and lead qualification.
  • Architect enrichment "waterfalls" by sequencing multiple data providers to maximize coverage while strictly managing credit costs.
  • Leverage AI to scrape unstructured web data, identifying specific buying signals, firmographics, pain points, and decision-maker details.
  • Manage CRM integrations and field mapping (HubSpot, Salesloft etc.), ensuring data objects and CRUD operations are maintained through specific CRM rules.
  • Execute data hygiene protocols using formulas, conditional logic, and normalization techniques to clean, deduplicate, and standardize data before it enters the system of record.
  • Configure HTTP API requests and Webhooks to connect Clay with tools outside the native stack.
  • Collaborate with Sales Managers to translate abstract Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) definitions into precise data filters and scoring models.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot automation health, acting as the first responder for errors, rate limits, or integration breaks to ensure reliability.

What we’re looking for:

  • Customer obsession, long-term thinking, speed, curiosity, passion, ambition, hardwork, honesty.
  • 1+ years in revenue operations, GTM systems, or a technical sales role.
  • Familiarity with Clay.com (or similar enrichment platforms). We prioritize strong data logic over tool mastery, as long as you understand the core concepts of enrichment and automation.
  • Technical Aptitude: You are unafraid of technical documentation. Even if you haven't written code, you are willing to learn how APIs and Webhooks work to build better automations.
  • Data Fluency: You are comfortable with spreadsheet logic (VLOOKUP, IF/THEN) and understand the strict data structure requirements of CRMs like HubSpot, Salesloft.
  • Troubleshooting Mindset: You don't just report errors; you investigate them. You are comfortable googling error codes and testing solutions independently.
  • Clear Communication: You can translate complex table logic into simple documentation that a non-technical sales leader can understand.
  • You take feedback, learn fast, and execute.
  • The proof that you are always willing to do much better than the previous time.
  • A working computer and a stable internet connection.
  • English proficiency.

Nice to Haves (Bonus Points)

  • Sales knowledge: We place high value on candidates with a background as an SDR/BDR who understand the "end user" perspective.
  • Clay experience: You have already built complex Clay workbooks and tables, including multi-step waterfalls or deep enrichment flows.
  • Scripting literacy: Basic proficiency in Python or JavaScript. Even if you rely on AI to write code, being able to read/tweak a script is a huge plus.
  • Low-code orchestration: Experience building workflows in Make, n8n, or Zapier to handle logic that extends beyond Clay’s native capabilities.
  • Track record of efficiency: You can share concrete examples of automations you’ve built that directly resulted in measurable process improvements or time savings.

What you’ll get:

  • An income that grows as your responsibilities and results grow. As the nature of its being a new start-up, Ciro currently is not able to offer the most competitive compensation in the market. However, Ciro is generous with its compensation once the sales targets are attained.
  • Ambitious, principles-driven, positive and hard working people with high-standards that want you to grow.
  • Building and leading your own team once it’s time to scale.

Ciro principles:

  • Obsess Over Customers - Everything starts with the customer and works backwards at Ciro. When faced with a decision, think; “is this helping our customers?” Earn and keep customer trust.
  • Hire A-players - One bad apple spoils the whole bunch. A-Players lift each other up while B,C,D players pull each other down.
  • Be Honest - with yourself and your teammates. Don’t sugar-coat anything.
  • Be Direct, Disagree and Commit - Challenge decisions when you disagree. Do not compromise for the sake of social cohesion. Once a decision is determined, commit wholly.
  • Be Quick - Take action, now. We value calculated risk taking.
  • Focus - Say no to a thousand things. Eliminate distractions.
  • Deliver Results - Less talk, more work. Show results, not fancy presentations.
  • Be Curious - Never stop asking questions and learning.
  • Excel in Details - Perfect the details, even when no one is watching. Perfection arises from the rigorous refinement of countless small details.
  • Insist on the Highest Standards - Do great work and demand it from others. Always improve. Always raise the bar. Most people may think those standards are unrealistically high - ignore them.
  • Think Big - Thinking small becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. Open your mind.
  • Think Different - Don’t answer “Why are you doing this that way?” with “Because it has always been done that way.” Challenge conventions. Question everything.
  • Invent - Look for new ideas from everywhere. Be courageous to do new things. Every new thing is misunderstood and misjudged most of the time - it is okay, do it anyway.
  • Simplify - No extra point for overcomplicating things. Rather, simplify.
  • Ownership - Act on behalf of the entire company. Never say “that’s not my job”. Think long term and don’t sacrifice long-term value for short-term results.

Here’s to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes… the ones who see things differently — they’re not fond of rules… You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can’t do is ignore them because they change things… they push the human race forward, and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius, because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do.
