Senior Performance Engineer
We are looking for an experienced Senior Performance & Load Testing Engineer to help ensure that our internal applications are stable, efficient, and reliable under varying workloads. This role focuses on non-functional testing and will work closely with our internal QA and development teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and execute performance, load, and stress testing scenarios for internal applications.
- Analyze performance test results and provide actionable insights and recommendations to QA and development teams.
- Prepare, configure, and maintain performance testing environments.
- Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to identify and diagnose performance bottlenecks.
- Recommend appropriate tools, strategies, and best practices for performance and load testing.
- Share knowledge and provide guidance or training to internal team members when needed.
- Report findings to the QA Lead and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of proven experience in performance and load testing of software applications.
- Strong hands-on expertise with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, k6, or similar.
- Experience with performance monitoring and analysis tools (APM tools).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English (German is a plus).
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote, distributed team environment.
