Role Summary:
The Head of MPO role ensures that every campaign, sponsorship, and activation across regions runs with precision, speed, and compliance. The ideal candidate combines strategic foresight, operational excellence, and commercial acumen to build and manage the global marketing execution framework .
Key Responsibilities
• Design and oversee the global marketing operating system, connecting Product, Brand, Growth, and Regional Marketing under one unified process.
• Manage the master campaign calendar — ensuring all campaigns are properly scoped, resourced, and delivered on schedule.
• Lead the Events & Partnerships division under MPO, including:
o Scouting and evaluating high-value sponsorships and global event opportunities.
o Overseeing contract negotiation, budget management, and legal/compliance alignment with Finance and Legal.
o Ensuring each event or sponsorship delivers measurable ROI and brand impact.
• Supervise the Campaign Operations team, maintaining clear intake processes, task ownership, and reporting visibility.
• Establish and manage global marketing governance frameworks, including campaign approvals, performance reporting, and spend tracking.
• Partner with the CMO and Finance to align on budget allocation, quarterly planning, and forecasting.
• Build and standardize marketing compliance processes, ensuring all activities meet jurisdictional regulations in APAC, MENA, EU, and LATAM.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration, bridging communication between Chinese and English teams, regional heads, and product owners.
• Lead reporting and insights for the CMO, building dashboards that monitor campaign efficiency, cost control, and global performance.
• Develop and mentor a multi-disciplinary global team across campaign ops, partnerships, events, and compliance.
• Support regional marketing managers and ensure their execution aligns with global marketing priorities and messaging.
• Enforce timeline discipline, issue escalation, and cross-department accountability for marketing deliverables.
• Represent the CMO in operational discussions, cross-department reviews, and regional leadership syncs when required.
Qualifications:
Experience
• 5-8years of experience in marketing operations, strategic planning, or program management within crypto, fintech, or global tech sectors.
• Proven record of managing multi-region marketing teams and large-scale events or sponsorships.
• Good understanding of crypto marketing compliance, global campaign governance, and cross-border coordination.
• Experience building and scaling marketing systems across global organizations.
