The Role
The Director of Product Marketing, Lung Diagnostics will lead a team of product managers responsible for the Lung Diagnostics portfolio, including Nodify Lung® Nodule Risk Assessment tests, IQLung™ Treatment Guidance tests, and pipeline diagnostic tests. This position will have the exciting opportunity to direct the prioritization and execution of strategic initiatives to accelerate adoption and utilization of the company’s primary growth driver.
What You'll Do
- Develop annual brand plans including budgets for all clinical diagnostic product lines that align with corporate objectives and deliver on annual goals.
- Lead a team of product managers responsible for executing brand strategy.
- Unite annual brand plans to establish and prioritize resourcing for product lifecycle management, partnerships, and sales enablement.
- Direct the launch planning and commercialization of pipeline laboratory developed tests (LDTs).
- Provide recommendations and updates to Biodesix Leadership Team on critical marketing initiatives.
- Accountable for oversight, business alignment, and ROI of the annual brand budget, including promotions, market research, and market development activities.
- Work closely with sales leadership to achieve revenue, volume, and customer satisfaction goals.
- Lead brand strategy for industry technical meetings and society conferences in coordination with marketing communications team.
- Communicate with other functional leaders to ensure success on marketing projects.
What You'll Bring
- 8 or more years of product marketing experience in diagnostics or a related healthcare field
- Proven experience launching diagnostic products or services and driving downstream marketing strategy
- Experience leading and developing high-performing marketing teams
- Strong understanding of sales workflows and the ability to partner closely with commercial teams; direct sales experience is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- Proficiency with marketing and CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, and WordPress; graphic design skills are a plus
- Demonstrated ability to use data to guide strategy, influence decisions, and communicate effectively with senior leadership
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a high degree of initiative and ownership
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with a commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience
- Ability to travel up to 25% for sales support, team meetings, and industry conferences
- This role is required to be onsite at our Louisville CO headquarters. Relocation assistance will be offered for eligible candidates.
- Competitive base salary: $150,000 - $172,500
