Job Description

Who We Are

Following our 2025 merger, Yapi and DoctorLogic operate as the combined leader in patient acquisition and engagement platforms for dental and healthcare practices. Our integrated platform spans the entire patient journey, from first web search to post-visit engagement.

We power thousands of practices with solutions including websites, patient communication workflows, appointment management, review automation, and seamless integrations with leading practice management systems (Dentrix, Eaglesoft and Open Dental). Our products help practices attract new patients, streamline operations, and build lasting patient relationships that elevate the entire patient journey. As we unify our platforms while maintaining distinct product lines, we're building the next generation of healthcare technology that serves both dental specialists and healthcare providers across multiple verticals. Our focus remains on delivering measurable practice growth through technology that actually works in real-world clinical environments.

Position Overview

As the Director of Product Management, you will own product strategy and roadmap execution across both the Yapi and DoctorLogic product lines. This role requires navigating the complexity of dual platforms serving distinct market segments while identifying unification opportunities that accelerate growth without disrupting existing revenue streams.

You'll lead a distributed product team through post-merger integration challenges, balancing immediate customer needs with long-term platform convergence. Success requires deep technical fluency with practice management integrations, healthcare workflows, and multi-tenant SaaS architecture, combined with the commercial acumen to drive pricing strategy, competitive positioning, and go-to-market alignment.

Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, you'll serve as a key strategic partner to the executive team, translating market insights into actionable product decisions that impact thousands of practices and millions of patients. This is a player-coach role—you'll build and mentor the product organization while remaining directly accountable for critical product initiatives.

The ideal candidate brings proven experience managing complex B2B healthcare platforms, a track record of successful product consolidation or migration projects, and the ability to operate effectively across technical, commercial, and clinical stakeholder groups. You must thrive in ambiguity, make decisions with incomplete data, and maintain velocity while managing technical debt across all systems.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Drive Business Outcomes: Own revenue growth and retention metrics across both product lines, ensuring every shipped feature demonstrably impacts ARR, user adoption, or operational efficiency. Kill initiatives that don't move the needle.
  • Execute Dual Roadmaps: Manage parallel product strategies for Yapi and DoctorLogic while identifying high-impact unification opportunities that accelerate growth without disrupting existing revenue.
  • Build & Lead the Team: Recruit, develop, and retain product talent capable of operating in a complex, post-merger environment. Model excellence in product discovery and delivery when hands-on leadership is required.
  • Ship Customer Value: Transform customer insights from practice owners, providers, and staff into solutions that solve real workflow problems and create measurable practice outcomes.
  • Enable Go-to-Market Success: Partner with sales and marketing to define pricing, packaging, and positioning that wins deals and expands accounts. Own product-led growth initiatives that reduce CAC and increase LTV.
  • Make Data-Driven Decisions: Establish and monitor KPIs for product adoption, usage, and retention. Use data to ruthlessly prioritize high-impact work and kill underperforming initiatives.
  • Navigate Stakeholder Complexity: Align executive team, board, and cross-functional partners on product strategy while managing competing priorities across two distinct customer bases and technology stacks.
  • Anticipate Market Shifts: Monitor competitive moves, PMS vendor changes, and healthcare regulatory updates to position our products ahead of market disruptions

Work Experience, Skills & Education:

Experience

  • 8+ years in B2B SaaS product management with 3+ years leading product teams through complex technical initiatives
  • Proven track record of driving measurable revenue growth ($10M+ ARR impact preferred) through product innovation
  • Experience managing multi-product portfolios or post-merger product consolidation required
  • Healthcare technology background strongly preferred; practice management system integration experience ideal

Technical & Analytical Skills

  • Deep fluency with API integrations, multi-tenant architecture, and enterprise SaaS infrastructure
  • Advanced proficiency in product analytics and data visualization tools
  • Experience with Agile at scale across distributed teams
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA compliance and healthcare data standards

Leadership Capabilities

  • Demonstrated ability to hire, develop, and retain high-performing product teams
  • Track record of influencing without authority across engineering, sales, and executive stakeholders
  • Experience presenting to boards, investors, or C-suite executives
  • Proven ability to make tough prioritization decisions and communicate tradeoffs effectively

Domain Knowledge (Preferred)

  • Familiarity with dental/medical practice workflows and revenue cycle management
  • Understanding of practice management systems (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental)
  • Experience with patient engagement, marketing automation, or practice growth solutions

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or technical graduate degree preferred
