Job Description


Our client, a leading provider of cyber-physical solutions for mission-critical facilities and complex infrastructure is currently growing their Engineering team and seeking a Quality Engineer for the Boydton, VA facility. NOTE - This is an 100% on-site position and our client will pay for relocation costs according to candidate!


About the Role

The Quality Engineer is responsible for implementing the project-specific Quality Control Plan, conducting field inspections, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and driving continuous improvement. This role plays a key part in ensuring the reliability and durability of complex electrical and technology installations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain project-specific Quality Control Plans.
  • Review customer requirements and reference materials to ensure quality alignment.
  • Conduct coordination meetings with subcontractors.
  • Maintain Quality Control Tracking Logs (QCTL) and QC checklists.
  • Verify submittal approvals and support design review processes.
  • Interface with clients and subcontractors on quality issues, reporting, and audits.
  • Coordinate inspections with third-party inspectors.
  • Document processes using frameworks such as ISO, CMMI, Agile, Lean Six Sigma, PMBOK, and ITIL.
  • Lead quality assurance activities, audits, and process improvements.
  • Analyze trends and prepare quality reports and scorecards.
  • Drive corrective and preventive actions to improve performance.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management (Industrial/Systems Engineering preferred).
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Successful background check.
  • Working knowledge of USACE/NAVFAC 3-Phase QC System.
