About the Opportunity:

This opportunity is for a Senior Release Engineer to accelerate development cycles by building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automation tools, supporting high-quality product delivery for data engineering systems.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Product Development, Quality Engineering, Infrastructure, and Platform Security teams to build scalable engineering environments and CI/CD pipelines.
• Improve the Software Development Lifecycle with robust code review, gatekeeping tools, and integration with cloud technologies.
• Identify and resolve release bottlenecks in the product delivery pipeline.
• Enhance tools and processes, seeking continuous improvement opportunities.
• Mentor team members on cloud technologies and introduce necessary changes.
• Develop and improve tools for continuous integration, automated testing, and release management using Python.
• Work with development and quality teams to address their needs and deliver productivity solutions.
• Evaluate and integrate the latest technologies to keep development infrastructure current.
• Build infrastructure using Kubernetes, BareMetal, AWS, GKE, and Azure.
• Design, develop, and maintain advanced CI/CD pipelines and automation tools for streamlined development and deployment.
Requirements:
• MS/BA degree in computer science or a related field, or foreign equivalent, and 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience automating CI/CD processes.
• Proficient programming skills in at least one general-purpose language, preferably Python, Java, Go, Shell, JavaScript, Typescript, or React Native.
• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) and strong system fundamentals.
• Familiarity with infrastructure languages such as Terraform, Ansible, Helm.
• Experience with Java-based build tools like Maven, Gradle, or Ant.
• Solid knowledge of Kubernetes and container technologies.
