Job Description
Our client, a media network, is looking for a Freelance Junior Art Director to join their team! This is a 40 hour per week ongoing role, and will be 100% remote (EST hours). Preference is for candidates who are local to the NYC area, and can come onsite occasionally for brainstorms, events, etc.
The Freelance Junior Art Director will:
-creatively lead smaller projects and help establish look / feel of events (including mood boards, design toolkits, onsite art direction, as well as digital promotional assets)
-flex between the above (design strategy / POV) and being a hands-on, executional designer (create mockups, as well as print assets / signage)
-work within the Swoogo platform (an event registration site, that needs to be built out with landing pages + RSVP pages per event)
The Freelance Junior Art Director has:
-ideally 2+ years of experience in design / art direction, with specific experience working on events or experiential activationsÂ
-fluency in Adobe CS (specifically Photoshop and Illustrator)
-a portfolio that showcases the ability to craft event mood boards, design tookits, etc.
-proficiency in Swoogo is highly preferred
