Job Description
We are looking for a Data Analyst / Data Engineer who is willing to relocate to join our Client’s team in Braine L’Alleud, Belgium.

Eligibility:
- Candidate must have resided in Portugal for at least the past 5 years.
- Portuguese citizenship is mandatory.
- Candidate must be prepared to obtain NATO or EU security clearance upon accepting the job offer (with Hexa coordination).
Key Responsibilities:
Data Management & Analysis
- Ensure accessibility, retrievability, integrity, and security of assigned data subsets.
- Assess data quality and consistency across sources (e.g., sensors, measurement, ticketing systems).
- Maintain and apply proper data structures, information handling, and protection policies.
- Use analytical tools to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, and present clear conclusions.
- Elicit enterprise and data requirements, supporting development teams with structured input.
- Create and maintain logical data models (entities, attributes, relationships).
- Offer guidance to database designers and data users on best practices.
Data Architecture & Reporting
- Design data blueprints, flows, and processing criteria that meet operational needs.
- Produce clear reports, dashboards, and decision-support materials for stakeholders.
- Detect and resolve data-gathering or integrity obstacles.
- Customize data fields and outputs to align with client-specific business cases.
Key Delivery Responsibilities:
- Participate in data analysis for business needs identification.
- Gather and compile user requirements for dashboards and reporting.
- Design, build, and test SQL-based reports using SSRS, Power BI, Excel.
- Validate reports with end users and internal teams.
- Troubleshoot and improve existing reporting pipelines.
- Design and develop ETL processes, data models, and data warehouses.
Mandatory Experience & Skills:
- 3+ years with Microsoft SQL Server, including SSRS, SSIS, SSAS.
- Strong experience in data warehouse design and ETL development.
- Hands-on experience with SharePoint (admin experience is a plus).
- Programming skills in C#, Python, or R.
- Experience creating dashboards using Power BI or similar tools.
- Familiarity with BMC ITSM, ITSM data, and Remedy Smart Reporting.
- ITIL v3 (or higher) certification.
