Flexible Workspace Australia is the national peak body for coworking and flexible workspace providers. We support operators, partners and industry leaders across Australia through networking, advocacy, events and industry-wide collaboration.
About the role:
The Membership and Sponsorship Coordinator is responsible for managing the Association’s key relationships with its members and sponsors - sourcing and converting new opportunities, maintaining clear communication channels and ensuring the delivery of sponsorship benefits. This role manages the relationships and activities that support FWA’s membership and sponsorship programs and is central to maintaining and growing the Association’s key revenue streams. You’ll work closely with the Board, sub-committees, the Event Coordinator and the marketing support team to ensure members and sponsors feel informed, supported and connected.

Key responsibilities include:
In this role, you will:
- Manage membership applications, due diligence, onboarding and ongoing member communication
- Maintain accurate member and sponsor databases
- Proactively identify and convert new membership and sponsorship opportunities
- Build strong relationships with members and sponsors to support retention and satisfaction
- Coordinate the delivery of sponsorship benefits across events and marketing activities
- Support event promotion, sales, registration and sponsor fulfilment
- Assist with marketing tasks including newsletters, website updates and social media
- Manage and optimise our CRM for email campaigns, automation and customer engagement
- Prepare and issue invoices (membership and sponsorship) and manage debtor follow-up
- Attend Board and sub-committee meetings as required and provide updates on membership, sponsorship and sales
About You:
We’re looking for someone who is:
- An excellent communicator who builds trust and rapport easily
- Relationship and partnership-driven
- CRM experience preferred
- Highly organised with great attention to detail
- Self-motivated, proactive and comfortable working independently
- Tech-savvy (Keap, Canva, Xero, Slack, Zoom, social media platforms)
- Experienced in membership-based organisations, partnerships, sales or account management (highly regarded)
- Tertiary qualifications in business, entrepreneurship, sales or relevant experience are valued.
