Your main responsibilities will be: 

 

  • Technical and Functional Analysis: Translate business requirements into clear and detailed technical specifications, ensuring proper understanding by the development team.
  • Collaboration with the Product Owner: Work closely with the Product Owner to ensure alignment between business requirements and project deliverables, driving clear communication and prioritization.
  • Development Support: Accompany the technical team throughout the entire project lifecycle, addressing functional or technical questions and ensuring correct implementation of requirements.
  • System and Architecture Analysis: Understand system architecture, component dependencies, and integrations with other services or APIs.
  • Technical Documentation: Create and maintain technical and functional documentation (diagrams, data flows, specifications).
  • Active Participation in Scrum: Take part in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, refinements, retrospectives), contributing to requirement clarity and prioritization.
  • Incident and Improvement Management: Analyze technical issues, propose solutions, and coordinate their resolution with the team.
  • Quality and Best Practices: Promote good analysis, design, and documentation practices within the team to enhance efficiency and traceability.

 

Required Skills:

 

  • Bachelor's degree: A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • Advanced degrees or certifications in business analysis or project management are preferred.
  • Language skills: Fluency in English (at least B2) is essential. Fluency in German is preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in the banking sector is preferred.
  • Strong team player: Demonstrated ability to excel in collaborative environments, working effectively with geographically distributed teams.
  • Ability to understand integrations, data flows, and API specifications.
  • Understanding of systems architecture and development concepts (no programming required).
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills: Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex issues and deliver high-impact solutions.
  • Agile methodologies: Experience working with Scrum, actively participating in ceremonies and defining user stories and acceptance criteria.

 

Preferred skills:

 

  • Experience: At least 2-4 years of experience as a business analyst, with a strong background in agile environments.
  • Experience in the banking sector, especially with asset management systems, is a plus. API and data analysis: Proficiency in understanding APIs and data integration, with the ability to analyze and leverage data effectively to inform business decisions and solutions. 
  • Business process analysis: Ability to analyze and visualize business processes, break down complex requirements into actionable features, and collaborate with the product owner to ensure the delivery of effective solutions.
  • Familiarity with business analysis tools: Experience with business analysis tools and methodologies, with an emphasis on the practical application of analysis and process visualization techniques in an agile framework.
