About the Role
We’re looking for a senior-level IT engineer who thrives on tackling complex technical challenges and building robust, cloud-first infrastructure. This is a hands-on role that combines advanced systems engineering, solution architecture, and client collaboration. You’ll be responsible for designing scalable environments, resolving critical escalations, and guiding projects from concept to deployment.

Job Responsibilities
- Lead technical evaluations and develop infrastructure solutions that meet business and security requirements.
- Implement and manage Azure environments, Microsoft 365, and Intune/Endpoint Manager, including device onboarding, compliance policies, and application deployments.
- Design and optimize complex networks, including firewalls, routing, switching, and VLAN configurations.
- Administer Windows Server environments, Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy.
- Troubleshoot advanced server, workstation, and network issues, owning Level 3 escalations from investigation to resolution.
- Build and maintain servers and endpoints, ensuring performance, security, and longevity.
- Document processes, deployments, and architectural decisions clearly and thoroughly.
- Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge to elevate team-wide technical skills.
- Collaborate with clients, project managers, and sales teams to ensure solutions are feasible, secure, and aligned with business objectives.
- Promote innovation and best practices in automation, monitoring, and cloud security.
Candidates Must Have
- 5+ years working in an MSP or high-volume IT support environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS
- Microsoft 365 administration, security, and troubleshooting
- Azure infrastructure and virtual networks (AZ-104 preferred)
- Networking concepts (Layer 2/3, VPNs, firewalls like SonicWall, Meraki, Fortinet)
- Virtualization platforms: VMware, Hyper-V, Azure Virtual Desktop
- Scripting/automation using PowerShell or similar tools
- Comfortable handling escalated technical issues and providing long-term solutions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
Bonus Qualifications: AZ-305, CCNA/CCNP, or cybersecurity-related certifications.
