Join our Team as an IT Support Engineer!

The Role

We’re seeking a passionate and dedicated IT Support Engineer who brings energy and expertiseto the table. In this role, you’ll support all computer related functions while collaborating with a dynamic and diverse team to achieve shared goals. What You’ll Be Doing

  • Provide excellent customer service through interactions with customers via telephone, email, etc and provide technical support and problem solving ability on a variety of technical and non-technical issues.
  • Provide higher level assistance with infrastructure and desktop support issues and support other staff in problem resolutions
  • Perform maintenance tasks and configuration with desktop management software tools, including software updates and patches, remote control tools, application inventory and management, inventory reporting, imaging computers and IT asset management in case failure events, notires user and fixes the problem or escalates to senior members
  • Administers the set up of new profiles, creates and updates access permissions and maintain user accounts for enterprise systems and applications
  • Documents the design, operation and troubleshooting of technology platforms and procedures, including preparations of ISO/JSOX documentation as needed.
  • Networking including hardware and software setups, OSI model, etc.
  • Active Directory functions such as group creation and modification, user creation, and modification and various permission-related items.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar degree or equivalent work experience in an IT related environment.
  • 3 or more years of related IT experience
  • Experience with server configuration and server OS support
  • Ability to work on the manufacturing floor to support customer needs

What Sets You Apart

  • Ability to demonstrate well-developed and proven organizational, problem solving, analytical, and time management skills
  • Ability to demonstrate project management, data analysis, customer services, and support skills
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • ITIL Foundations Certification or ITSM/ITIL experience

  • This is an in-person role located at our East Chicago, Indiana office—ideal for those who thrive in a hands-on, team-oriented environment.

What Your Total Compensation & Benefits Package will look like:

Salary - $83,000 - $130,000 per year. Compensation depends on the selected candidate’s education and experience.

Relocation: This role may be eligible for relocation assistance. (remove if not applicable)
