About the Role
DW SISTERS LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Backend) to join our client’s early-stage engineering team. This role is onsite in San Francisco and offers the ability to drive key architectural decisions, work directly with leadership, and build core systems powering sophisticated AI-driven workflows.
What You’ll Do
- Build, scale, and optimize backend systems that support mission-critical AI products.
- Own major components of a Python-based backend architecture.
- Partner directly with founders and senior leadership on strategic technical decisions.
- Operate with high autonomy in a fast-paced, iterative, high-output environment.
- Contribute to an engineering culture centered on ownership, precision, and rapid problem solving.
What We’re Looking For
- 4+ years of experience building production-grade software.
- Strong experience with backend systems (Python preferred).
- Clear, effective communication skills.
- Bonus experience with:
- B2B SaaS
- Early-stage (0→1) product development
- Above all: drive, grit, ownership, and a bias toward action.
Additional Details
- Salary: $150K–$275K
- Equity: 0.1–0.3%
- Onsite Requirement: 5 days/week in San Francisco
