🚀 What You’ll DoAs part of a cross-functional agile pod, you will contribute to the design, development, testing, and optimization of high-quality Android applications.
Translate concepts and requirements into fully functional Android applications.
Develop application logic, features, and UI using Kotlin and Java.
Work with the Android SDK to access device capabilities such as sensors, GPS, camera, and system services.
Build clean, intuitive, and visually consistent interfaces aligned with modern Android design principles.
Implement smooth and logical navigation flows within the application.
Ensure proper rendering and behavior across different screen sizes, resolutions, and device types.
Conduct thorough testing to identify defects, performance issues, and edge-case scenarios.
Debug and resolve issues efficiently using modern tooling.
Write and maintain unit tests using frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, Espresso, or Robolectric.
Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, backend developers, QA engineers, and product teams.
Integrate mobile apps with RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
Follow Android development best practices, accessibility standards, and secure coding guidelines.
Continuously explore the latest features, tools, and technologies to enhance development outcomes.
3+ years of experience working with the latest Android SDK.
Strong proficiency with Kotlin, Android Jetpack libraries, and architectural patterns such as MVVM, MVP, or MVI.
Experience consuming RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
Solid understanding of Android UI patterns, principles, and responsive design.
Hands-on experience with unit testing and test automation frameworks.
Familiarity with offline storage, multithreading, and performance tuning.
Experience building with accessibility standards in mind (e.g., WCAG 2.2).
Understanding of the complete mobile development lifecycle and continuous delivery practices.
Knowledge of common open-source Android libraries and ecosystem tools.
Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Experience with push notifications, cloud messaging APIs, and background services.
Strong debugging, benchmarking, and optimization skills.
Proficient with Git and CI/CD pipelines, ideally using GitHub Actions.
