PR & Corporate Relations Intern – CodeDuelz
Location: Remote / Hybrid
Type: Internship
Stipend: Unpaid
Duration: 1–3 Months
Primary Goal: Bring Sponsorships and Corporate Partnerships for CodeDuelz events
We are looking for a proactive PR & Corporate Relations Intern to help CodeDuelz scale across top engineering colleges in India.
Your main responsibility will be to bring sponsors, develop corporate partnerships, and support our nationwide event expansion.

Responsibilities- Bring corporate sponsors and secure partnership deals for CodeDuelz tournaments and events
- Identify potential companies (tech, SaaS, EdTech, startups, hardware brands, etc.) and reach out via email, LinkedIn, and calls
- Pitch CodeDuelz sponsorship packages, negotiate terms, and close deals
- Prepare and send sponsorship proposals, presentations, and brand collaboration documents
- Maintain a structured pipeline of leads, follow-ups, and partnership communication
- Contact colleges, tech clubs, fest coordinators, and student councils to organise CodeDuelz events
- Build and manage college communities and a campus ambassador network
- Draft partnership emails, PR announcements, and communication material
- Support event execution, planning, and community engagement activities
- Maintain detailed records of outreach, contacts, responses, and partnership status
- Strong communication and persuasion skills
- Confidence in cold outreach (email, LinkedIn, calls)
- Comfortable speaking with corporate managers, HR teams, marketing heads, and founders
- Ability to pitch professionally and conduct basic negotiations
- Well-organized with consistent follow-up discipline
- Interest in marketing, PR, partnerships, or business development
- Prior experience in college fest sponsorships, PR teams, or marketing clubs is a bonus
- Real-world experience in corporate partnerships and sponsorship acquisition
