About the Role
We’re looking for a Founding Software Engineer to join an early-stage AI company and help build a real product used by real customers.
You’ll have end-to-end ownership - from shaping ideas and designing solutions to shipping to production and iterating with customer feedback.
You’ll work closely with the CTO / Head of Engineering and be one of the engineers defining the technical bar, culture, and product direction.

Team: 6 engineers, scaling to 12–15
What You’ll Do
- Own product features end to end: design, implementation, deployment, and iteration
- Build production-grade systems with Python and LLM integrations
- Turn real customer problems into scalable technical solutions
- Work closely with product, operations, and customers
- Contribute to architecture decisions and engineering standards
- Help shape team culture and ways of working as an early engineer
What We’re Looking For
- Senior-level software engineer (founding / early-stage experience is a big plus)
- Hands-on experience integrating LLMs into real products
- Strong backend experience (Python preferred)
- Comfortable working directly with customers
- High ownership, independence, and maturity
Location
- On-site in London, 5 days per week (mandatory)
