Job Title: DevOps/Site Reliability Engineer
Duration: 12+ months
Locations: Ontario, Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal (100% remote)
Core hours of the position: somewhat flexible, but able to attend meetings and collaborate with team members between 8 am Pacific and 3 pm Pacific. Team members are located in Pacific, Mountain, Central, and East time zones

Responsibilities
- Drive the strategy for CI/CD pipelines, developer tools, and infrastructure to improve speed and scalability
- Design, implement, and maintain modular, scalable CI/CD pipelines with a focus on performant automated QA and monorepo-based code management
- Provide architectural vision and strategic direction for devops practice across design system
- Lead management of the entire build, integration, deployment, and release processes
- Monitor and optimize the performance of pipelines, identifying and addressing bottlenecks, and inefficiencies
- Manage dependencies between different projects or libraries within the monorepo, ensuring consistency and avoiding conflicts
- Implement, promote and educate development teams around DevOps culture
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Platform Engineering
- Demonstrated experience with CI/CD tools such as Cloud Bees, Jenkins, and Spinnaker
- Extensive knowledge and experience with monorepos
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using NodeJS and Shell
- Familiarity with specialized tools designed to manage the complexities of monorepos like Nx
- Excellent understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
- Familiarity with AWS stack
- Great communication and collaboration skills across technical and business teams
- Proficiency with front-end testing tools and frameworks, like Playwright
- B.S. in computer science, engineering, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in building platform-centric projects
- Experience in using Jira, Confluence, and Slack
- Familiarity with Azure stack
