Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Data Engineer / Analytics Specialist to join our growing team. This role is ideal for early-career professionals who are passionate about data, eager to build scalable solutions, and ready to contribute to impactful analytics projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain data pipelines, while also supporting business intelligence and reporting needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain efficient ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data using Python & SQL.
- Maintain data warehouses or lakes, ensuring data accuracy, quality, and consistency.
- Troubleshoot pipeline failures and optimize queries for performance.
- Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and product teams to gather data requirements.
- Optimize database performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.
- Design, build, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Validate and reconcile datasets from multiple sources to ensure correctness.
- Stay updated on emerging tools and best practices in data engineering and analytics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 1–2 years of professional experience in data engineering, analytics, or related roles.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
- Familiarity with data pipeline tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt, or similar).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Python or another scripting language for data manipulation.
- Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts.
- Exposure to big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop) is advantageous.
