Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer (Monorepo & CI/CD)
Location: 100% Remote, Canada
Experience: 5+ Years
Role Summary
We are hiring for this role where the selected candidate will work with a development team focused on monorepo management, CI/CD optimization, and scalable developer tooling. The position supports ongoing engineering initiatives for a global leader in the software industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines that support automated testing and monorepo workflows
- Design and evolve developer tooling to improve speed, reliability, and deployment workflows
- Support architectural direction for DevOps practices within the development ecosystem
- Manage build, integration, deployment, and release processes end to end
- Monitor pipelines to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks
- Oversee dependency management across projects within the monorepo
- Promote DevOps best practices and collaborate with teams to adopt automation and tooling improvements
Must-Have Skills
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Platform Engineering
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools including CloudBees, Jenkins, and Spinnaker
- Extensive hands-on experience working with monorepos
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using NodeJS and Shell
- Familiarity with monorepo tools such as Nx
- Strong understanding of SDLC and agile development practices
- Experience working with AWS services
- Confident communication and collaboration across technical teams
- Experience using front-end testing tools such as Playwright
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience supporting platform-centric engineering projects
- Familiarity using Jira, Confluence, and Slack
- Exposure to Azure environments
