Azure Entra ID (IAM) Engineer

Piper Companies is seeking an Azure Entra ID (IAM) for a global leader in networking and cybersecurity solutions. This position will design, implement, and manage identity and access management solutions in Azure Entra ID, supporting secure IT capabilities for business as it transitions to multi-cloud and hybrid environments. This position is fully remote and requires the individual to be able to hold a security clearance.

Responsibilities for the Azure Entra ID (IAM) include:

• Design and implement Azure Entra ID solutions to meet business and security requirements, ensuring seamless integration with cloud and on-premises systems.
• Manage identity and access controls, including RBAC/ABAC, MFA, and SSO, while monitoring service health and performance.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and conduct regular audits, implementing identity protection and governance features.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and collaborate with IT teams to resolve complex technical issues, maintaining SOPs and knowledge base documentation.
• Deliver training and guidance on Azure Entra ID best practices, staying current with new features and industry trends.
• Lead and participate in IAM-related projects, defining scope, objectives, and deliverables, and communicating status to stakeholders.
  
  

Qualifications for the Azure Entra ID (IAM) include:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proven experience as an Azure Entra ID SME or similar role, with deep expertise in IAM technologies and Azure cloud services.
• Strong knowledge of identity federation, MFA, SSO, RBAC/ABAC, and compliance standards.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and interpersonal skills for working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Preferred certifications: Microsoft Certified Identity and Access Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or similar.
  
  

Compensation for the Azure Entra ID (IAM) includes:

• Salary range: $120,000 - $145,000
