We are hiring Support Engineers to join a global support team providing ongoing application and platform support for a reputed international client.
This is a fully remote, long-term opportunity ideal for professionals who enjoy problem-solving, working closely with engineering teams, and ensuring high system availability and customer satisfaction.
Role Details- Role: Support Engineer
- Engagement Type: Long-Term Contract / Full-Time (based on fit and availability)
- Location: 100% Remote (Work from anywhere)
- Duration: Long-term engagement
- Start Date: Immediate or within the next few weeks
- Provide Level 2 / Level 3 application and system support.
- Monitor applications, identify issues, and respond to incidents in a timely manner.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues across applications and services.
- Coordinate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams for issue resolution.
- Perform root cause analysis and contribute to permanent fixes.
- Maintain support documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles.
- Support releases, deployments, and post-deployment verification.
- Ensure adherence to SLAs and support processes.
- Participate in on-call or shift-based support, if required.
- 3+ years of experience in application or production support roles.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Experience supporting web applications, APIs, or enterprise platforms.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and incident management processes.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, global support environment.
- Good communication skills and customer-focused mindset.
- Experience with Java-based applications or microservices.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and log analysis.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and alerting systems.
- Experience supporting enterprise or SAP-related systems is a plus.
- Experience working in 24x7 or follow-the-sun support models.
