Role Overview

We are seeking a UX / UI Designer to join our digital team in the UK. You will be responsible for designing user experiences and interfaces across company websites, platforms, and digital products, working closely with product, development, and marketing teams to deliver practical, scalable design solutions.

  • This is a skilled digital product role with clearly defined responsibilities and deliverables, aligned with the UK Home Office requirements for the Skilled Worker route.
Key Responsibilities1) UX Design
  • Define and structure user journeys, including user personas, usage scenarios, journey maps, and task flows
  • Develop information architecture (IA), site structures, page logic, and interaction frameworks
  • Produce wireframes and interactive prototypes, and lead design reviews
  • Design and optimise conversion flows such as registration, enquiries, bookings, and payments (where applicable)
2) UI Design
  • Design high-fidelity user interfaces for Web, Mobile Web, and App products, ensuring consistency and scalability
  • Build and maintain design systems and component libraries (colours, typography, buttons, forms, cards, icons, etc.)
  • Deliver developer-ready design specifications, including annotations, assets, component documentation, and state definitions (hover, disabled, error, etc.)
3) Research & Optimisation
  • Conduct basic usability testing and user interviews (online or in person), and translate insights into actionable improvements
  • Continuously optimise designs based on user feedback and performance data (e.g. bounce rate, conversion rate, funnel performance, where applicable)
  • Support A/B testing initiatives where technical infrastructure is available
4) Cross-functional Collaboration & Delivery
  • Collaborate with product, operations, and marketing teams to define priorities, scope, and delivery timelines
  • Work closely with front-end and development teams to ensure designs are feasible and accurately implemented (responsive behaviour, compatibility, performance)
  • Maintain clear documentation, version control, and design deliverables across multiple projects
Essential Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in UX/UI or Product Design (strong portfolios may be considered with less experience)
  • A comprehensive portfolio demonstrating the full design process (problem definition, thinking, solution, and outcomes), with at least 2–3 projects
  • Strong proficiency in Figma (required)
  • (Bonus: FigJam, Auto Layout, Components, Variants, Token-based systems)
  • Solid understanding of responsive design, usability principles, and basic accessibility standards
  • Ability to clearly articulate design decisions, improvements, and validation methods
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working closely with development teams
