Job Title: DevOps Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our distributed team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, deploying, and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure. This role requires strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms, automation, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment workflows.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar).
  • Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Monitor system performance, reliability, and security across production and non-production environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate closely with development, QA, and security teams to improve deployment efficiency.
  • Implement best practices for system security, scalability, and disaster recovery.
  • Maintain clear documentation for infrastructure, processes, and operational procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • 3–8+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Hands-on expertise with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
  • Solid experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Shell.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch).
  • Good understanding of networking, Linux systems, and security best practices.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with microservices and distributed systems.
  • Familiarity with GitOps tools (ArgoCD, Flux).
  • Knowledge of serverless architectures.
  • Exposure to compliance standards and security frameworks.
  • Experience supporting high-availability production systems.
