Job Description

The Senior Quality Analyst works within the Quality Support Services (QSS) Department to apply the data analysis process in the accurate and timely collection, validation, analysis, visualization, and dissemination of key indicator data within the Quality Management System (QMS). Understands and educates others about the data analysis process and best practices for data used in process improvement and quality assurance. Responsible for identifying, implementing, deploying, and maintaining efficiencies in the QMS data program. Responsible for designing, implementing, deploying, and maintaining data analysis solutions for specific key indicators and process improvement projects, through close collaboration with stakeholders. Documents workflows to ensure sustainability and continuity. Coaches and trains Quality Data and Project Coordinators, including assigning work and performing quality assurance and validation.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related or analytical field. Advanced degree, certification, or other education preferred (comparable experience and training may be considered).

Experience

  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience creating compelling and meaningful end-user reports displaying health quality and cost information for a wide range of audiences required.
  • Epic report writing experience required. Certification or ability to obtain certification preferred.
  • Tableau experience required. Tableau Analysts Skills Assessment or obtain within 12 months of hire required. Tableau Desktop Specialist Certification preferred.
  • MS Access, Power BI, Excel, Smartsheet, SharePoint, Teams, SQL programming experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS & SSAS preferred.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
