Opportunity

Virtual Service Operations is actively seeking a talented individual with an active TS/SCI clearance to direct strategic and operational activities within a Security Operations Center, including planning, resource allocation, and leadership of hybrid cloud/on-prem SOCs.

In this role, you will manage the daily and strategic operations of a Security Operations Center (SOC), overseeing teams, playbooks, and response strategies. You will also ensures the SOC aligns with NIST functions and protects large-scale environments (>50k endpoints). This position requires deep experience with hybrid/cloud SOCs and leadership.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree
• Experience:
  
  

10 years Total

At least 5 years managing a combined on-premise/cloud SOC

Or 10 years in cybersecurity incident response in large environments (50,000+ endpoints)

Must include experience across all five areas of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework: Identify, Protect, Detect, Respond, Recover

Exception: 3 additional years of experience in lieu of degree

Requirements

• Must possess an active TS/SCI security clearance
• Must be within driving distance of Arlington, VA or willing to relocate to the area (Relocation Assistance Package Available)
• Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires U.S. citizenship status

Salary Description

$145,000.00 - $166,000.00
