Cloud Engineer
Remote – Candidate must be UK based
£75,000 + bonus

My client are a leading property security business, who are operating on a national and international scale. The business combine local intelligence with innovative, technology-led services.
As the successful Cloud Engineer, you will design, build, and operate a scalable, low-latency real-time media platform supporting live video, audio, alarms, and operator communications. The role owns AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and predictable performance.
Key Responsibilities as Cloud Engineer:
- Design and run Amazon EKS for latency-sensitive workloads
- Architect AWS networking for real-time traffic (VPCs, ALB/NLB, Global Accelerator, Route 53)
- Own infrastructure as code (Pulumi preferred) and CI/CD pipelines
- Build and operate WebRTC/SFU-based systems for CCTV, alarms, drones, and live operator workflows
- Optimise media quality, latency, jitter, and resilience
- Develop signalling and control services (WebSocket, HTTP, gRPC, SIP)
To be considered for this role you must be a Cloud Engineer with strong AWS & Kubernetes experience. You must also have a strong lean on media (WebRTC/RTSP/SIP).
The role is fully remote, however you must be based in the UK and have full right to work. The Cloud Engineer role is paying £75,000 + bonus.
