Important note: This position requires relocation to Málaga, Spain. While the relocation is being arranged, the selected candidate will work remotely following Spanish business hours (CET). Once in Málaga, the role will be hybrid, combining on-site and remote work days.
What are we looking for?
For one of our main clients, we are seeking a Data Technical Expert with experience working in AI.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership, advanced expertise, and deep knowledge in data and artificial intelligence to design, build, optimize, and support data and AI platforms, pipelines, and architectures.
- Define standards, best practices, and frameworks for building, deploying, and maintaining data and AI infrastructures (on-premises, cloud, or hybrid).
- Participate in the implementation and deployment of machine learning, deep learning, and AI models, ensuring integrity, performance, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Support the definition of technical architecture and solution design: assist in the design of technical data and AI solutions.
What we expect from you
- 5–8 years in advanced technical roles related to data, Big Data, Cloud, AI, ML, or data engineering.
- 3 years of responsibility in designing/architecting data/AI solutions in complex environments.
- Experience implementing data pipelines, data lakes/warehouses, ingestion, transformation, and processing (batch/streaming).
- Deployment of ML/AI models in production following MLOps best practices.
Technologies and Skills:
- Languages: Python, SQL (desired: Scala, Java, R)
- Cloud & Big Data: AWS, Azure, GCP; tools such as Spark, Databricks, Hadoop, Kafka, Airflow, Trino
- Databases: Relational and NoSQL
- Machine Learning / AI / MLOps: ML/AI frameworks, pipelines, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & Automation
