We’re looking for a hands-on Frontend Engineer who loves building beautiful, high-performing web applications and thrives in a fast-paced, start-up environment where every day is different.

You’ll be joining a tight-knit tech team of 10 people, working collaboratively across Product, Design, and Backend to deliver world-class digital experiences. If you’re proactive, love to get your hands dirty, and enjoy taking ideas from concept to live product, this role is for you.

JOB SUMMARY MANDATORIES:

You are an expert in front-end and mobile app technologies. The role owns our Front-end and mobile app architecture and implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own front-end and mobile app architecture, implementation and codebase
• Responsible for building, testing and deploying mobile apps to both Android and iOS
• Working with your agile team colleagues, other developers and technical leaders, Scrum Master, Product Owner and UX Lead to build quality solutions that are capable of long-term testability and growth whilst delivering focused, value-driven changes to a high-quality standard.
• Help the team avoid performance bottlenecks, and security vulnerabilities and help with architecture decisions while ensuring that applications and services run quickly, efficiently and securely with minimum oversight.
• Build and maintain production-grade web applications using React and TypeScript.
• Collaborate closely with Designers and Product Managers to bring creative ideas to life.
• Deliver clean, reusable, and performant code that enhances the overall user experience.
• Work across a modern stack that may include Next.js, GraphQL, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Continuously improve product usability and performance with a strong eye for detail and design.
• Operate in a fast-moving environment with quick feedback cycles and rapid deployment.
• Interact with the Product and Design teams to understand and refine new requirements.
•  Help scope the effort required for the implementation of new features.
•  Take ownership of the implementation of new features.
•  Align with the Backend development teams during implementation.
•  Interact with our QA team to ensure successful delivery.
•  Assist the team with the ongoing maintenance and support of our product.
•  Work in an agile environment and keep stakeholders updated on your progress.

Skills & Core Values You Bring

• Expertise & Experience: Strong experience in developing interfaces for web and mobile applications with a passion for quality UX/UI design.
• 15+ years of software engineering experience, including 10+ in frontend development
• Strong skills in React, JavaScript and TypeScript
• Familiarity with frontend architecture and state management
• Experience with browser extension APIs and security best practices is a plus
• Flexible and adaptable across different frontend technologies
• You have excellent technical skills. Very strong delivery focus accompanied by a proven track record.
• Culture & Behaviour: passion about all things front end & mobile app. Can-do attitude.

What skills do I need?

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other relevant discipline or equivalent work experience
• 10+ years’ experience in front-end technologies and platforms.
• Strong React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5 & CSS skills
• Strong React knowledge.
• Experience working in a cross-functional Scrum team in an agile environment using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
