Job Description
As Director IT – HR and Collaboration Information Systems, you will be at the forefront of shaping Hapag-Lloyd’s digital employee experience. This strategic leadership role is responsible for continuously evolving our HR technology landscape, driving innovation on the Oracle HCM platform (MYPORT), and leading the transformation of our digital workplace through modern collaboration tools enabling a future-ready, AI-enhanced workplace. You will serve as a visionary partner to HR and business stakeholders, enabling scalable, user-centric solutions that foster engagement, productivity, and global alignment.
- Lead the strategic evolution of MYPORT (Oracle HCM SaaS), transitioning from deployment to continuous innovation and capability expansion
- Drive global HR process harmonization, automation, and employee experience improvements through scalable digital solutions.
- Drive the adoption and integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies, including Agentic AI, into HR and collaboration systems to enhance automation, decision-making, and employee experience.
- Establish and maintain a robust operating model for HR systems including MYPORT, Cornerstone LMS, and Camunda Workflow Platform.
- Shape the digital workplace strategy by enhancing collaboration platforms such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Power Platform, and M365 Copilot.
- Develop and execute adoption strategies for collaboration tools to support hybrid work and digital engagement.
- Serve as the primary IT liaison for HR Business Partners, Academy and Communication teams, aligning technology strategy with business goals.
- Manage vendor relationships and platform partnerships to ensure service excellence and innovation.
- Lead and develop international teams across IT locations, fostering a high-performance culture and continuous learning.
- Own the budget and lifecycle management for HR and collaboration systems, ensuring cost efficiency and value delivery.

- Deep expertise in Oracle HCM and Microsoft collaboration ecosystems.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and digital transformation practices.
- Knowledge of AI techniques, including machine learning, natural language processing, and emerging Agentic AI models.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Experience in contract negotiation and vendor management.
- Fluent English.
