About The Role

We are seeking a frontend-focused software engineer passionate about creating intuitive product experiences, developing dev tooling, and working with data. As part of the Dagster Labs engineering team, you will contribute to building and enhancing the Dagster platform, enabling organizations to develop scalable and efficient data systems. Your role involves translating complex data platform information into user-friendly, powerful, and engaging interfaces that resonate with users worldwide. Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant software development experience
• Fluent in JavaScript and React
• Expertise across the full software development lifecycle, from planning to delivery and iteration
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Proven ability to contribute effectively as part of a team
  
  

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality features by collaborating with product, design, and backend teams to create reliable, clean, and engaging product experiences
• Engage directly with users to understand their challenges and translate feedback into actionable improvements
• Partner with product and go-to-market teams to deliver solutions aligned with real-world needs
• Participate in technical architecture discussions and assist the team in making key technical decisions
• Identify opportunities for enhancement in code quality, user documentation, and performance, leading initiatives to implement these improvements
