Job Description

🚀BRAND NEW ROLE 🚀 Frontend Developer - React.js/Redux, TypeScript, Tailwind - 100% Remote Role for a Manchester Based Company - Salary £40K - £50K + benefits

What would you be doing and who is this role for?

You'd be 100% focused on the frontend, working on modern greenfield projects with a micro-frontend architecture that supports their main platform.

Their main platform is an e-commerce site that oversees £1 million of revenue a day.

You'd primarily work with a React-based stack, focusing on front-end architecture, component design, as well as WCAG accessibility principles.

Why are they good?

The role is a 100% remote role with an open-door office in Manchester. For this role, you have to be based in the North West/Yorkshire area because they like to maintain a culture, as some months they do meet-ups and hackathons.

They have a local team of around 70, and job security is as good as it gets here. They have never made anyone in the tech team redundant, and they've been going 20+ years!

Why do they stand out from anyone else?

They don’t hire Seniors or Leads externally. What they look for is a strong mid-level who wants the opportunity to step up.

A big point of pride for them is nurturing and growing their own talent. Across the tech team, the average time from joining the business to becoming a Senior is around 12–15 months.

They are looking at shortlisting candidates this side of Christmas and then interviewing at the start of next year. I'd apply now to get ahead of the new year traffic!

Why have these roles come about?

They are growing! This role isn't to fill a gap it is to enhance their team.

The role is a 2 stage interview process and be done in 2 days depending on your availability!
