The RoleWe are seeking a Mid- to Senior-Level Human Resources Specialist to support our growing organization. This part-time, fully remote role will manage key HR functions across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, compliance, benefits administration, and HR systems management.
This role works closely with leadership to ensure that HR processes are compliant, efficient, and aligned with the company's goals.
W2 and 1099 candidates are both encouraged to apply. Please indicate your preference.What You’ll Do- Manage recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes
- Draft offer letters and coordinate new-hire setup across internal systems
- Process payroll and manage employee timekeeping
- Support benefits administration and open enrollment in coordination with external brokers
- Maintain HR documentation, including employee handbooks, policies, and onboarding materials
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws across multiple states
- 8+ years of HR experience
- Strong knowledge of multi-state HR compliance (all 50 states)
- Experience working with HRIS, payroll, and benefits platforms
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote, part-time environment
