We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Site Reliability Engineer to join the fully remote Engineering team at Feedonomics. You will be working with a highly collaborative and cross-functional Infrastructure Engineering team to deliver and scale core infrastructure components and services that power our robust, high-performance, data-intensive SaaS platform.

What You’ll Do

  • Ensure our applications exceed availability, scalability, reliability, performance and our SLA goals
  • Architect, develop, automate and configure enterprise observability tools and custom monitoring scripts to establish comprehensive infrastructure and application monitoring capabilities
  • Proactively monitor, analyze and tune our systems, services, network and applications
  • Use your subject matter expertise and skills to provide recommendations that improve reliability and quality of service provided to the clients
  • Work with various engineering teams and leaders to architect tools and methodologies that simplify troubleshooting and debugging
  • Participate in system design and capacity planning sessions
  • Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations and follow up with appropriate action items
  • Perform periodic on-call production support duties

Who Are You

  • 6+ years experience in SRE, Systems Admin. or DevOps positions
  • Education: Preferred Minimum Bachelor's degree in CS, EE, SW, CE, MIS; or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience with monitoring technologies like New Relic or Datadog (required)
  • 2+ years Linux administration and shell scripting (required, CentOS/RHEL a bonus)
  • 2+ years of experience with Ansible or related technology
  • 2+ years Docker or other container management solutions (strongly preferred)
  • 1+ year SQL administration (required, MySQL preferred)
  • 1+ year in caching technology (required)
  • Experience in maintaining highly available applications (strongly preferred)
  • Experience in Software Development (strongly preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Applicants must reside in the United States to be considered a candidate**

(Pay Transparency Range: $84,000.00 - $144,000.00)

The exact salary will be dependent on the successful candidate’s location, relevant knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
