Job Title: Executive Recruiter
Location: Nashville TN - Hybrid
Duration: 6+ Months contract
Job Summary
The Senior Recruiter is responsible for leading full-cycle recruiting efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, and recommending qualified candidates from both internal and external talent pools. This role partners closely with hiring managers, senior leaders, and HR stakeholders to ensure timely and effective fulfillment of workforce needs. The position also provides guidance to recruiting teams, supports talent acquisition initiatives, and contributes to process improvements and strategic hiring efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruiting activities including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer development, and candidate placement.
- Partner with hiring managers and leadership to understand workforce needs and recommend the most qualified candidates.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill and high-impact roles, ensuring diverse candidate slates.
- Extend employment offers, support offer negotiations, and coordinate relocation arrangements when applicable.
- Lead, mentor, and provide direction to recruiters supporting talent acquisition initiatives.
- Maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
- Analyze recruiting metrics, identify trends, and implement process improvements to enhance hiring outcomes.
- Stay current on market trends related to compensation, benefits, and employment practices.
- Ensure recruiting activities comply with local, state, and federal employment regulations.
- Support enterprise-wide talent acquisition strategies, best practices, and initiatives.
- Participate in special projects, serving as a project lead when assigned.
- Collaborate with recruiters on campaign development, pipeline marketing, and employer branding efforts.
- Support executives and senior leaders throughout the hiring and selection process.
- Utilize ATS and HRIS platforms to manage candidate workflows, reporting, and compliance.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of recruiting experience in staffing, corporate HR, or a combination of both.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS), advanced sourcing techniques, and candidate database development.
- Proven experience directing or leading recruiters in support of talent acquisition initiatives.
- Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness and ability to travel, including overnight stays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience using Workday ATS.
- Corporate recruiting experience, including enterprise or multi-division environments.
- Experience recruiting within the healthcare or insurance industry.
- Executive-level recruiting experience.
- SPHR certification.
- Strong project management skills with experience defining solutions and implementing recruiting process improvements.
- Experience managing vendor relationships and negotiating agreements.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships and apply business knowledge to recruiting strategies.
- Experience developing and executing enterprise talent acquisition strategies, methodologies, and best practices.
- Ability to plan, design, and administer recruiting practices across multiple business units.
- Advanced knowledge of local, state, and federal employment regulations.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using recruiting data to drive decision-making.
- High level of comfort working with ATS, HRIS, and recruiting technologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Lotus Notes).
