About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our Platform Infrastructure Team in a fully remote capacity within the USA. As an SRE at Dispel, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our platform infrastructure. Your expertise will contribute to building and maintaining resilient systems that support our Zero Trust Engine and related solutions. You will collaborate closely with development, security, and operations teams to automate deployment processes, optimize infrastructure, and implement best practices in DevOps and infrastructure-as-code. Your work will directly impact the stability and performance of our products, ensuring that our customers receive secure and reliable services. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the cutting edge of cybersecurity technology, leveraging your technical skills to support critical industries worldwide.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience shipping production‑ready software
- Self‑reliant in DevOps, Infrastructure‑as‑code, orchestration, automation, and redundancy methodologies and techniques
- Familiarity with DevSecOps principles and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines (plus)
- Professional experience with containers, AWS, AWS Well‑Architected Framework, and Terraform
- Experience delivering web applications to production reliably
- Experience guiding teams through the software development lifecycle from local development to production
- Experience crafting logging, metrics, and alerting systems that deliver value to teams
- Strong communication skills for explaining complex technical topics clearly and succinctly in person, in writing, and over team chat
- Willingness to accept feedback, learn from failures, and continuously improve
- Passion for learning new disciplines and understanding team workflows
Bonus qualifications include sysadmin experience and relevant certifications to validate knowledge and skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure supporting Dispel’s platform and services
- Automate deployment, configuration, and management processes using Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform
- Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure system health and availability
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security and reliability best practices into CI/CD pipelines
- Guide teams through the software development lifecycle from local development to production deployment
- Identify and resolve infrastructure issues proactively to minimize downtime and service disruptions
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes and automation initiatives
- Participate in on-call rotations to support system reliability and incident response
- Document infrastructure architecture, procedures, and best practices for team reference and knowledge sharing
